Kendra Allen

Kendra Allen joined Spring Grove Funeral Homes in May 2024 and is a licensed funeral director and embalmer in Ohio. She is also a certified celebrant.

Originally from Youngstown, Ohio, Kendra earned her Associate of Arts degree from Eastern Gateway Community College. Inspired by a promise she made to her late mother; she decided to pursue a career in funeral service. That journey brought her to Cincinnati, where she attended the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science and earned her bachelor's degree in Mortuary Science.

Kendra's path at Spring Grove has been one of growth and dedication. She started as a student attendant, completed her apprenticeship, and now serves families as a licensed funeral director and embalmer. As a certified celebrant, she's also honored to create and officiate personalized services that reflect each person's unique life and story.

What Kendra enjoys most is helping families create meaningful tributes that celebrate their loved ones while offering comfort and healing. She's passionate about guiding families through the planning process, answering questions, and making sure they understand their options so they can make choices that truly honor their loved one's wishes and values.
