We want all our guests to feel welcome here. Our Event Center's décor is elegant yet inviting, featuring beautiful chandeliers, windows offering ample natural light, and a large fireplace. We even decorate our space for the holidays.
Up To 300 Guests
Located within Spring Grove’s main funeral home, our Event Center has multiple remodeled rooms for hosting visitations, funeral or memorial services, and family gatherings for up to 300. Our parking lot can accommodate all guests.

We help connect families to the catering service to best meet their dietary needs and budget. Whether families want to host a formal sit-down meal or share light hors d'oeuvres and drinks, the choices are limitless.

What types of events can be hosted?
Spring Grove focuses primarily on funeral, memorial, celebration of life, receptions, and repasses following those events and services. We do occasionally host local hospice remembrance services and donate our room in support of those organizations. We also host preneed educational luncheons and provide resources to the public. In 2024 we are thrilled to donate to and welcome the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science (CCMS) for their graduation program.

What type of equipment is available?
When hosting events, we have the ability to set up with round tables and chairs, pub tables, all chairs if it is a service, or a combination depending on the need. Both event center rooms have long, marble counters where we can display memorabilia or food and beverages. We have modern flower stands, podiums, microphones, stanchions, reserved signs, floor and table easels in a variety of sizes, centerpieces and runners, table décor, beverage dispenses and décor, theme decorations, and even a balloon pump. Our outdoor covered patio can be used during certain times of the year when the weather permits. We have a beautiful wood bar or can set up small, bar service in any area, including outside.

How do I book the Event Center?
Your Spring Grove Funeral Homes funeral director will connect you during arrangements with our Event Center manager for a tour and discussion of your event, including food, beverages, room options, and booking. If you are a hospice organization or veteran’s organization, please contact our main office and ask for the head of the funeral home.

Can we serve alcohol at a reception?
Spring Grove Funeral Homes Event Center has our food serve and State of Ohio liquor licenses. As such, we are allowed to serve wine, beer, and spirits. Our servers and facility has all the required licensing and certifications. Because of this licensing, families and guest are not allowed to bring in any form of alcohol, they must purchase it under our license. We can create specialty cocktails or drinks for receptions or simple toasts of a favorite beverage. Creativity and imagination is our strong suit, so we encourage unique and beautiful experiences for your event.

Can I bring in my own decorations?
We encourage you to bring in items that belonged to your loved one or décor items that you would like to display or use for centerpieces, tables, and memory areas. You will see some of those ideas on our event center video or we will work with you to give you ideas. Creating areas of conversation and remembrance through the use of decorations or personal items is our specialty. Our event center staff and attendants will help get everything set up in advance for your special event and also help pack things up after the event.
