Katie Dobbins

Funeral Director and Embalmer

Katie was raised in Bright, Indiana where she graduated from East Central High School. While studying music at NKU, she experienced a loss in her family that introduced her to the funeral service profession. Feeling that this was her calling, she decided to change the course of her education. Katie joined the Spring Grove Family in 2020 where she started working as a student. After earning her bachelor's degree in Mortuary Science from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science, she served her apprenticeship with Spring Grove and has been a dueled licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer since 2022. Katie was awarded the Ivan P. Bowser Award for the art of restoration from CCMS. She is a member of the National Funeral Directors Association. Katie currently lives in Cincinnati.
