Weekend Walkabout October 2025
Weekend Walkabouts are walking tours offered once each month, May through October. Your $5 donation will go to the Heritage Foundation to further efforts in education, preservation, and community outreach. Registration is required as space is limited.
This tour meets in front of the Customer Service Center.
TOUR TOPIC: HISTORY and HERITAGE
The ‘Spring Grove’s History & Heritage tour will teach you how Spring Grove began, about notable residents, and beautiful monuments, mausoleums. Members of the Cincinnati Horticultural Society formed a cemetery association in 1844. They endeavored to find a location suitable for creating a picturesque park like institution away from the city.
