Public Tram Tour 1:00 July 2026
Public Tram Tours are offered four times each month May through August and three times each in September and October. Your $5 donation will go to the Heritage Foundation to further efforts in education, preservation, and community outreach. Registration is required as space is limited.
This tour meets in front of the Customer Service Center.
TOUR TOPIC: CAPTAINS OF INDUSTRY
We will visit the family monuments of a group of prominent Cincinnati families who were well-known and quite influential in their time - shapers of Cincinnati society, culture and policies. Many of their surnames survive as the names of our streets and neighborhoods, some of their businesses are still with us, and the cultural intuitions they founded and supported are still important. You will hear about their public and private lives. Take a look at the monuments they and their families erected to tell the world how they wished to be remembered. Come along and see who you know…
