We will step back into the earlier days when horticulture was focused more with food production than our current day obsession with ornamental side of plants. Learn and sample plants we now use in the landscape having edible fruit as we tour the grounds on a relaxing summer evening walking tour and gain an expanded appreciation for the woody plants in our landscape. You will see plants that are obvious food sources and others that are quite surprising in their quality. This event will meet at the Historic Office, just inside the main entrance, to the right. Registration is required and will open on August 16th at NOON. Beginning in 2023, there will be a $5 fee for Arboretum events which will go to the Heritage Foundation.
