Obituary

Robert David Hill (Rob) was born on April 2, 1957, in Cincinnati, Ohio to the Union of John Henry Knight and Lila Mae Hill. 

Robert received Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at the age of 15 and recommitted his life to Christ in 2019.  He received his education from the Cincinnati Public School system and later became skilled as a auto mechanic repairing cars and motorcycles.  He later chose Nursing as a profession where he cared for numerous patients throughout the City of Cincinnati.  He retired from the Jewish Hospital Mercy Health as a Supervisor of Environmental Services in 2019 a year after he was declared legally blind.

Robert loved building model cars, going fishing, working on cars and motorcycles and watching his black and white westerns on television.  He declared himself to be a great cook and enjoyed eating different foods to include UDF Peach Ice Cream, Bar-B-Que Grippo’s, skins and Rondo’s from LaRosa’s.

Robert succeeded his Beloved wife Sandy Hill. Robert leaves behind to celebrate his life one Daughter, Tondaylaya Hill, two sons, John Paul A Keller (Kathryn), and Athelstan Knight. Two Step daughters, Amy Schultz and Melissa Heeke.  Eight Grandchildren, and one great granddaughter. Five brothers, John, Burnett (Beloved Arcola), Willie (Tasha), Lucius (Wendy), Paul, Five Sisters, Mary, Venice (Reggie), Vancessa (Don), Helen, and Dolly; two aunts, Susan Knight and Diane Daniels, and abundance of nieces and nephews (112+), great nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family, and great friends.  www.springgrove.org
