Obituary

Patricia Ann Jordan passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 21, 2023 at the age of 72. She was born on July 16, 1950 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of the late Alonzo and Anna Mae (nee Boles) Sweet.

For many years Patricia worked as a Mail Carrier for the United States Postal Service. Outside of her work, she loved to spend her time collecting, painting, hanging out with her friends and going to Gatlinburg or the beach. More than anything, she loved spending time with her family. She was present and supportive of everyone and was always willing to help anyone without judgment. She was the sweetest, kindest, and most caring person, and her loss will be felt deeply by everyone who knew her.

She was the beloved wife of Robert Aloysius Jordan, Jr. with whom she shared 54 years of marriage. She was the loving mother of Shawna (Ryan) Chapin and Robert A. Jordan III; grandmother of Michael Lawson, Nicholas (Nikki) Lawson, Stella (Matthew) Stroud and Dylan Rockwood; great-grandmother of Hailey Lawson, Jaxson Lawson, Kaylee King and Annalyn King.

Services for Patricia will be held on Friday, May 26, 2023. Visitation will be held from 8:00 to 9:30 AM at Spring Grove Funeral Home - Reading, 8633 Reading Road, Reading 45215. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of the Valley Parish, 330 W. Vine Street. Burial will follow the Mass at St. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
