Mary, AKA Tout, was raised in the west end of Cincinnati and baptized in the Catholic faith. She attended St. Henry Catholic School, Bloom Jr. High School, and Taft High School. After school, she became employed as a chef for K's Catering. She later continued her education in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she received her nursing certificate. She would then go on to work for United Way and retired from the health care field in 1996. Cooking continued as a passion for her. She fed your heart and soul in her loving meals. Tout had a way to set you in your place when need be, but would fix you a plate and feed you right after. She shared her gift for nurturing, compassionate conversation among her family, and the popular 'Thirsty Thursday' togetherness hosted weekly for her family for many years. When not entertaining and loving on the family, she hung out with her posse "The Golden Girls," where they would get together and go shopping while talking about the good ole days. Mary is survived by siblings, Clarence Walker (Laura), Robin Walker, and Elaine Corbin; Children James Satterwhite, Chauncey Satterwhite, Richard Satterwhite, Stephanie Satterwhite, Angela Greene, Margo Corbin, Isaiah Corbin (Christy), David Thomas, Mack Thomas, and Theresa Thomas-Allen (Darrow).
