The family of Margaret (Peggy) L. Brueggemann announces with sadness her passing on May 21, 2023. Peggy grew up in Westwood, graduated from Western Hills High School in 1954, and Duke University in 1958. She devoted her life to teaching the advanced sciences initially at Walnut Hills High School, then The Summit Country Day School for 41 years.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. William and Margaret E. Brueggemann, and her brother, Dr. Martin W. Brueggemann. She is survived by two sisters, Ann B. Fortescue, and Bonnie B. Stone, and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be interred in the family plot in Spring Grove Cemetery. No service is planned at this time.
