Karen Sue Kovach (61) of Cincinnati, Ohio went to be with the Lord on January 27th, 2021. Karen was born in 1959 to the late M.V. and Hazel Tucker of Chillicothe, Ohio.
Karen graduated from Chillicothe High School and attended the University of Cincinnati from 1977-1981, where she earned a B.S. in Education. She later returned to the University of Cincinnati College of Law, where she completed her JD of Law. Upon graduation, she worked as a magistrate for Hamilton County Juvenile Court for over a decade before serving as Deputy General Counsel and General Counsel within many areas of the private and educational sectors. She remained General Counsel for Michelman Inc. of Blue Ash, Ohio until the time of her passing.
Karen loved to travel all over the world, but her favorite place was Sanibel Island, Florida. She loved the beach, especially shelling and relaxing with family. Waking up to the sound of the waves was her call to peace and tranquility. Even in Cincinnati, she kept the ocean close through her alarm that woke her to ocean waves each morning.
Karen is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Scott Kovach, her loving daughter, Lily Grace Kovach, her two siblings, M. Vernon (Grace) Tucker and Brenda Blanton, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, Karen requested contributions be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Additionally, please consider helping others in their fight against leukemia by donating blood https://hoxworth.org/donors/blood.html and registering with a bone marrow donation registry https://bethematch.org/support-the-cause/donate-bone-marrow/join-the-marrow-registry/
