John passed on March 19th following a long illness. For many years he was a Senior Relationship Manager for Fifth-Third Bank helping many businesses and bank clients. He was a graduate of Elder High School and Northern Kentucky University. He was always a rabid Cincinnati sports fan whether it be the Elder Panthers, Reds, Bengals or Bearcats. He was not only a fan but also a player. He continued, until prevented by his illness, to take on opponents half his age on the basketball court. He was passionate about rock and blues music. He is survived by his daughter Erin, grandsons Lucca and Leo, his brother James and sister Carole. A memorial service will be held on April 8th from 1 to 3 at Spring Grove Funeral Home.
