Jerry Nathan Duncan, 67, passed away April 27, 2022 due to injuries suffered from a motorcycle accident. He was born April 30, 1954 in Cincinnati, OH, son to the late James Orville and Elsie Lenore (nee Adams) Duncan. He will be dearly missed by his daughters, Lily and Angela Duncan; his grandson and buddy, Jay Michael Mullins; and his siblings James "Jimmy/Crazy" (Carolyn) Duncan, and Ruth Norton.
In addition to his parents, Jerry is preceded in death by his sister, Ann Norman and his brother, David Duncan.
Jerry was an accomplished journeyman plumber and a well rounded handyman. He was always willing to give of himself to help those around him. Understanding and thoughtful, his presence was an important part of the many lives he touched, not just limited to his family. Jerry had a strong sense of adventure and loved spending time traveling and exploring the outdoors. He found delight in the riches of the world just as much as the company of the new people he met along the way. His memory will resonate in all who knew him.
When Jerry passed, he was able to give the gift of life by being an organ donor. His selflessness carried its course even in his death and his physical gift will help many recover from medical ailments and escape pain.
A celebration to honor Jerry's life will be held 2PM on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Spring Grove Funeral Home, 4389 Spring Grove Ave. Family will receive friends beginning at 1PM and an inurnment will follow the memorial service at Spring Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to assist with medical and funeral costs.
