Jan Wilsman passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 26th. Jan was preceded in death by her parents, Hasco Walters and Helen Linville Walters and her daughter Charlotte Myers Gibson. She is survived by her devoted husband Gary Lee Wilsman, her beloved son Gregory Myers, her stepsons, Craig and David Wilsman, her stepdaughter Anna Wilsman , 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, brothers Tim (Debbie) and Jeff (Gwen) Walters, sisters Wilma (Gary) Jones, Lynda (Chris) Statham, Sherry (Doug) Cook, Debborah (Alex) Means, and Velma (Mark) Caudill, along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Jan enjoyed her life for many years, raising her children and stepchildren as well as three of her granddaughters. She started work at an early age at the Norwood Frisch’s. After attending school at Southern Ohio College she began a career as Manager at BP Oil and worked at several locations including Norwood, Montgomery and Springdale. She then accepted a position in General Accounting for Fifth Third Bank in downtown Cincinnati. In recent years she struggled with health issues due to COPD and was forced to retire from work. Jan was devoted to her family and loved spending time with them, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Per her wishes, there will be a private gravesite service for her at the family’s convenience and a grand celebration of her life later this year.
