James “Isaac” Boggs Sr. was born January 6th, 1986 to Leslie D. Boggs and DeWitt Smith in Cincinnati, Ohio. James traded his worldly troubles for his Crown of Righteousness and white robe of eternity on Saturday, October 31st, 2020 @ 8:58 at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.
James was affectionately known to family and friends as “Isaac” or “Ike.” He fought the "Good Fight." He heard those words “Job Well Done Thy Good and Faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things, Come and share your master’s happiness!” Matt 25:23
James was educated in Cincinnati Public School system where he attended Heinold Elementary and Western Hills High school. James later attended I.T. & T. Technical school, before entering the workforce. James had a love for music. James loved to have "Rap" battles. His infectious smile and warm personality would light up any room he entered, and thus, no one was able to remain sad in his presence.
James accepted Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior at a young age with his mother at House of Joy Church. James loved the Lord.
James was preceded in death by his father Dewitt Smith, Grandmother Rosa P. Boggs, Grandfather Lester Boggs and one son Jeremiah King Dunson.
James leaves to cherish his precious memory and legacy: his loving Mother, Leslie D, Boggs, Brothers: Edward J. Boggs, and Micheal R. Boggs, his Soulmate Sheena L. Dunson, Daughter Kellceona C. Dunson, sons: James I. Boggs Jr, Da’ve-ontae L. A. Dunson, Aunt Melody P. Beall of Chula Vista, California, an Uncle: Tulani Rufaro, along with a host of cousins, extended family and friends.
