Irma Jean Tincher (nee Wysong), age 92, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, on Friday, March 17, 2023.
Irma was born on October 13, 1930, in Hamilton, Ohio, to William and Ada Wysong (nee Wahl). Irma was one of ten children. When Irma's father passed away at a young age, Irma helped her mother raise her young siblings. It was through this experience that Irma persevered, and continued to do so throughout her life.
On January 17, 1948, Irma married the love of her life, James "Ed" Tincher. Irma and Ed were blessed with 5 children. Together they created a life they loved. Irma spent her life devoted to her family and being the ultimate homemaker. She absolutely loved celebrating and decorating for every holiday, especially Christmas. Irma was a classy woman and dressed as such. She wouldn't be caught without her lipstick on. Later in life, she and Ed enjoyed traveling the world including trips to, Egypt, France, Hawaii, England, and Alaska. They also enjoyed playing golf and attending 4th Division Marine Corp Conventions.
Irma will be deeply missed by her loving children, David Edward Tincher, Deborah Sue (Bob) Luther, and Cheryl Ann (Jeff) Barber; daughter in law, Terri Tincher; grandchildren, Raph (Jenny), Gabe (Vicki), Ruth (Dan), Jennifer (Greg), Ariel (Sarah), Sarah, Frank (Nikki), Rachel (Jon), Cori (Marc), and Michael; 19 great grandchildren; siblings, Bobby, Shirley, and Carol.
In addition to her parents, Irma was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 65 years, Ed Tincher; sons, James Bucky Tincher, Steven Henry Tincher, Infant son, William Frank Tincher; siblings, Bill, Marge, Eddie, Alice, Richard, and Donnie.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 28th, 2023, from 9:00-10:00 AM at the Norman Chapel, on the grounds of Spring Grove Cemetery, 4521 Spring Grove Ave. Cincinnati, Ohio 45232. Funeral service to immediately follow at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at 1:30 PM at Oak Hill Cemetery 11200 Princeton Pike, Cincinnati, Ohio 45246.
Memorial contributions may be made in Irma's honor to Blue Ash Church of Christ or the Marjorie P. Lee Christmas Fund.
