Harold Alan Wingo passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at the age of 72. He was born in Evansville, Indiana, the son of the late Harold C. and Wanda (nee Vick) Wingo.
Alan worked in education for over 30 years. He worked as a teacher and later principal at both Princeton City Schools and Fairfield City Schools. When not working, he enjoyed sports, family, but mostly his grandchildren
Along with his parents, Alan was also preceded in death by his grandson, Benjamin Farler and by his in-laws, Raymond and Anna Ruth Gaisser.
Alan is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Marsha (nee Gaisser) Wingo; his children, Brad (Carrie) Wingo, Sarah (Jason) Farler, Jonathan Wingo and Beth (Neil) Hopper; grandchildren, Ellie and Reece Wingo, Abigail, Nicholas and Katherine Farler, Andrew and Jacob Hopper; his brother, Mike (Karla) Wingo.
A private service will be held for the family at Messiah Lutheran Church with burial at Oak Hill Cemetery. A livestream of the service will be available on Saturday, February 20, 2021 beginning at 11:00am.
