Gloria Ann Flowers was born November 14, 1952 in Anniston, Alabama to the late Willie Williams and Leona Lee Williams. She peacefully went Home to be with the Lord on September 14, 2021 in Cincinnati, Ohio at the age of 68.
She graduated from Courter Technical High School in Cincinnati, Ohio, and later attended Wilberforce University in Wilberforce, Ohio. She retired from her position as a claims representative at State Farm Insurance. She also accepted Christ into her life at an early age and was a member of Beulah Missionary Baptist Church.
Gloria was a devoted wife and mother who loved her family fiercely. She always said that she was truly at peace when with her children. She loved reading, painting, sewing, cooking, baking, gardening and so much more. She literally could do it all! She was smart, funny, loving, strong, generous and immensely loyal We are all better because we knew her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents Willie and Leona; siblings, John Henry, Bobby, and Sally; mother-in-law, Betty; father-in-law, Rozelle; and brothers-in-law, William, and Arthur "Randy".
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of more than forty-five years, Burnel "Bill"; daughter Kenshasa "Keni" (Hamilton); son Burnel "BJ" (Shuvonna); grandson, Coreyon "CJ"; granddaughter Zuri; siblings Roena, Dothard, Carolyn, Frankie, and Robert; sisters-in-law, Beverly, Sheila, and Jeanette; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
