Geraldine Morgan or "Gerdy" as she was benevolently called was born in Cincinnati, OH on June 24, 1943 to the late Willa Mae Farley and Dudley Morgan. She was the sixth of seven children. Geraldine departed her earthly life peacefully at her home surrounded by immediate family after a long battle with Cancer.
While at a young age, after attending the Catholic Church for a while, Geraldine faith increased and she accepted Christ as her Lord and Saviour.
She was educated in the Cincinnati Public School system and was a proud graduate of Robert A. Taft High School. She was a dedicated and valued Dietary Manager at Al Byars; and was known for great cooking.
"Gerdy" was known for her sassy attitude and fast comebacks to any joke you may have thrown her way. Every holiday you could catch her grilling Barbeque. She also enjoyed going to the casino and playing the lottery, along with watching movies, especially Westerns, or reading a book. "Gerdy" was a very loving, kind and generous person, she had a big heart. Everyone knew they could call on her whenever they needed a helping hand. There was not a mountain too high that she would not climb to help family and friends. She was the life of any party and would light up any room with her gigantic personality.
"Gerdy" possessed a unyielding strength as she faced the many challenges throughout her lifetime. She never complained and made it clear that she did not want anyone to worry about her as she suffered in silence. Love and strength is what she exhibited despite her own personal pain. She never let anything stop her from making sure that her children and other family and friends were taken care of. She was never judgemental and accepted everyone for who they were. She was a dedicated Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, and Cousin who will truly be missed by all.
