Bellinger, Ethel Lee Moore was born in Selma, Alabama to Jack Grider and Emma Lou Smith Wilson (2005), both preceded her in death, before migrating north to Cincinnati, Ohio at 18 years of age. She passed away on October 5, 2021 at the age of 85 at the Home of Taylor's Pointe Nursing Home in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was the wife of the late John Bellinger. She was baptized at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church but served at Mt Olive Baptist Church, The Rock Baptist Church and joined New Prospect Baptist Church in her later years. Received her Nursing Assistant certification from Stowe School. She worked at General Hospital, St. Margaret's Nursing Care, Heartland Nursing Home and was at the Beechwood Terminal Care facility for many years when she retired. She worked second jobs at many bars and lounges in the Cincinnati area in order to care for her family. She is best known for her genuine love and care, infectious laugh, radiant smile and zest for life. She loved, loved, loved her Cincinnati Bengals, Reds, UC Bearcats and sports in general. She is survived by her children: Jonathan Mitchell Moore (Regina); Darlene Lackey; Lawrence Lackey (Theresa); Veronica Moore; Yvette Lackey; Adriene Moore Harrell (Maurice) and Michelle Johnson Welch. She loved and adored a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and numerous adopted children who needed a home, love and or care. She kept the door open for whoever needed it, and would feed and clothe them as her own. She'll be missed by many!
