Emogene Clark Stephenson, 84 of Cincinnati passed away April 20, 2021. She was born on October 24, 1936 in Russellville, KY. She was the daughter of the late Walter Randolph and Pauline Baker Clark.
Emogene was a 1955 graduate of the Olmstead High School, Russellville, KY. She then went receive her BA Degree in 1959 from Kentucky Wesleyan College, Owensboro, KY. There she met her husband, Noel who preceded her in death in 2015.
Emogene was a children's librarian with The Cincinnati Public Library and eventually retired from the Sycamore Branch, as the head children's librarian. She was a member of the Cincinnati Woman's Club, the President of The Nomad Club and also of the Kentucky Wesleyan Alumni Association.
She was proudly named Outstanding Young Woman of America in 1970 and recipient of the Alumni Service award from Kentucky Wesleyan College in 2009.
Loving mother of Missy (Ralph) Ketron. Cherished grandmother of Dustin Ketron. Dear sister of the late Marcella Clark Brashear.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2021, 3 PM at Hyde Park Community United Methodist Church (1345 Grace Ave. Cincinnati, OH 45208).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kentucky Wesleyan College Alumni Office (3000 Frederica St. Owensboro, KY 42302).
