Elizabeth Louise Stouffer (nee Slaven) took her heavenly journey on January 17th, 2023 at the age of 71.

Louise is survived by her son Robert (Heather) Stouffer; daughter Rebecca (Sheri) Roller; grandchildren Kimberly, Ethan James, Jeremy (Carol), and Stephanie (Mitch); great-grandchildren, Jeremy Jr, Abigail; siblings Norma Preston, Oscar (Sandy) Shaver, Mae Hicks, Carol Vanover, Pearly Vanover, Parker Vanover, Michael Vanover, Daryl Vanover; sister-in-law Victoria Slaven; many bonus-children/ grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Albert James Stouffer; parents Edna Mae Slaven and Lawrence Vanover; siblings Barbara Pabst, Bonnie Willenbrink, Douglas Slaven, Eddie Slaven, Clara Vanover, Larry Vanover, Lawrence Vanover Jr., Carl Vanover, and Mary Vanover.

Louise was born on January 15th, 1952, to Edna Mae Slaven and Lawrence Vanover in Marsh Siding, Kentucky. Growing up she didn't have much when it came to money, but she had it all when it came to love. She was a single mother to her son Robert at a young age and worked tirelessly to give him a good and loving life. There was nothing that she wouldn't do to protect him and together there wasn't anything they couldn't conquer! She met the love of her life, Jim, at the age of 22 and the 3 of them became one on May 27th, 1976. Louise and Jim welcomed their daughter Rebecca into their little family in 1977 and were happily married for 35 years before he passed away.

Louise was a bartender, as well as a bar owner for many years and loved getting to meet different people from all walks of life. If you ever needed a laugh, she was your go-to girl! She loved getting to be a part of her children's lives and took special interest in being a part of their education as well. So much so that she even had her own school pictures done for many years while serving in the PTA for Rebecca. Once her grand children were born, she spent every moment possible being the best Mammaw and enjoying every part of their lives that she could! She loved grandparent days, school field trips, and birthday parties. Being a Mammaw was one of her greatest blessings and she made sure to tell everyone that she talked to, just how proud she was!

Louise was the person who would give you the shirt off of her back if you needed it and never let anyone go without. She was kind, fierce, loyal and so loving. She believed that there were never too many hugs or "I love You's" in this life. The world will feel the void of her absence and she will be so incredibly missed by all who knew her. Please be sure to do something kind, say an extra "I love you" to those around you, and to take a moment to enjoy life just as she would.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 9am until the time of the Funeral Service at 10am at Spring Grove Funeral Home, 4389 Spring Grove Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45223. Interment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery.
