Obituary

Dr. Mark Schrand, 64, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at his Cincinnati residence with his devoted family by his side. 

Mark was predeceased by his loving parents, the late William and Marcella Schrand. 

Mark is survived by his wife, Carmen Hollender Schrand of 31 years; sons, Brett (Ailem), Eric and Brennan Schrand; siblings, William Schrand, Ken (late Judy) Schrand, Rick (late Diane) Schrand, Judy (Jeff) Lawrence and Don (Nancy) Schrand.

Mark was a talented woodworker and loved college sports, especially his alma mater Xavier University. He graduated from Wright State Medical School in 1985 and had a distinguished Internal Medicine career providing healing, encouragement and compassion to his many patients.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday May 24th from 4-7pm at Spring Grove Funeral Home, 4389 Spring Grove Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45223. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday May 25th at 10:00 am at St. Therese Little Flower, 5560 Kirby Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45239. Interment to follow at Spring Grove Cemetery.
