Mahlenkamp, Dorothy, Passed away on May 26, 2021 at the age of 92. She is survived by daughter Karen Lipping and son Douglas Stein (Debra), grandchildren, Lucas Stein (Alice), Benjamin Stein, Kerstin Watkins (Matthew), and great- grandchildren Nolan, Nora and Mary. She had 5 wonderful step children and many step grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; She is also survived by her sister, Lucille Grueninger and brother; Charles Gaynor as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by grandson Caleb Stein and her husband, Jack; also by her sisters, Charlotte Gaynor, Joyce Ward (Carroll), Anna May Bartlow (Don) and brother, Joseph Gaynor (Aileen). Dorothy had a life-long love of learning; she earned two Masters Degrees in Education and Fine Arts from the University of Cincinnati. Dorothy was a wonderful artist, and her pieces are cherished by her family. Dorothy was the undisputed champion of Scrabble and crossword puzzles and relished the challenge. Dorothy loved to travel and went to many countries where she enjoyed the culture, museums and food. She was the official family historian and provided updates for every Dameron-Gaynor family reunion. She had a deep faith in the Lord, and is now at rest with her beloved husband, Jack. Services will be held on June 3, 2021 at 11:00. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. at Spring Grove Funeral Home 4389 Spring Grove Avenue In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Affinity Care of Ohio 7681 Tylers Place Blvd. Suite 3 West Chester, OH 45069 which provided Hospice Care to Dorothy and gave comfort to her in her final hours.
