David Jetter entered this life on June 21, 1938, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was the loving son of the late Clyde and Daisy Belle Jetter. David was united in marriage to Edna (Fitzpatrick) Jetter, and recently celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary. He was the loving father to David, Tasharah, and Sandra, 4 stepchildren, and loving Papa to Andrea, Serenity, several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
David was raised in Cincinnati, Ohio where he attended Withrow High School. After high school, David made the courageous decision to serve his country by joining the Army. Later, he was employed by General Motors, retiring after 31 years. David is a longtime member of the Gray Road Church of Christ, and always known to drive the church bus. He was devoted to planting flowers and helping beautify the church, even as he aged.
David departed this life on Friday, May 6th, 2022 at 9:05 a.m. at Hospice of Cincinnati. He is succeeded in death by his beloved wife, Edna, his children, David, Tasharah, and Sandra, his stepchildren, many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He is also succeeded by his siblings, Ida, Otis, and Deborah. David as preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Daisy Belle, and siblings, Clyde, Carolyn, and Daniel.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 13th, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at the Gray Road Church of Christ 4826 Gray Rd. Cincinnati, OH 45232. Service to follow at 12:00 p.m. Entombment to immediately follow at Spring Grove Cemetery 4521 Spring Grove Ave. Cincinnati, OH 45232. www.springgrove.org
