Daryle, our beloved husband, father, PawPaw, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, passed away after a two-year battle with pancreatic cancer with his wife and daughter by his side on Tuesday, September 1, at the age of 55 years. He fought valiantly for his family and friends and will be greatly missed.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 36 years, Lisa; daughter, Kristina (Chase); granddaughter, Arya; parents, Joe and Helen; brothers, Rick (Sue), Bill (Sharon), Steve (Pam), Scott (Sarah) and Keith (Amy) as well as his nieces and nephews, Diane, Bear, Tara, Michael, Jada, Spring, Morgan, Max, Luke and Emma.
Daryle was born in Hamilton, Ohio and remained a Butler County resident his entire life. He graduated from Talawanda High School in 1983 and married his high school sweetheart, Lisa, in 1984. Daryle and Lisa welcomed their daughter, Kristina, in 1990 (the happiest day of his life until his granddaughter Arya was born in 2017). He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. His passion was spending time with his family and members of the G9. His mission was to have fun and make people laugh to which all would say “mission accomplished.” His love for his family and friends was immeasurable. He would always lend a helping hand, without being asked, and want nothing in return. He never met a stranger and all who met him loved him. The world has lost an amazing, loving, compassionate, giving and selfless man and heaven has gained an awesome angel to watch over us.
A Celebration of Life Service was held privately for the family on Sunday, September 6, at Spring Grove Funeral Home – Tri-County.
Memorials may be made in his honor to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (1500 Rosecrans Avenue, Suite 200, Manhattan Beach, California 90266) and Crossroads Hospice (4380 Glendale-Milford Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45242).
The family wishes to send a special thank you to all their family and friends who have been so supportive throughout this ordeal as well as Dr. Benga and the oncology staff at UC; Crossroads Hospice for their care during his final days; and Victoria and Ebony at Spring Grove for their compassion and assistance with the memorial service.
