Obituary

Coba Schmahl reunited with her husband Wayne "Doc". She was born on October 20th, 1930 in Alvord, IA to her late parents Jacob & Elsie Boer. She is preceded in death by her brother John Boer and her sister Elaine Kelderman. She is survived by her dear sister Evelyn Berg & brother Clarence (Karyn) Boer; her beloved children Kevin (Karen) Schmahl, Lori (Al) Lindeman, Kurt (April) Schmahl, & Ken Schmahl; her eighteen cherished grandchildren Kim, Kathryn (Nelson), Ryan, Karli, Cassie, Kyle (Debbie), Amy, Amber (Rex), Amanda (Aaron), Allison (Steven), Abbey, Hannah, Molly, Noah, Emily (Matt), Matt, Kelly, Jenna; and twelve amazing great-grandchildren. She passed away on January 7th, 2021 at the age of 90.

A public vistation will be held on January 16th from 10AM to 11AM at Spring Grove Funeral Home (4389 Spring Grove Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45223). A private family service will be held after the visitation. Coba will be laid to rest at Spring Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Gloria Dei Lutheran Church (5841 Werk Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45248).
