Clyde D. Richardson, Jr., 92, passed away on Monday, Decemeber 7, 2020.
Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, July 1, 1928, to the late Eunice Augusta Roney and Clyde Daniel Richardson Sr.
Clyde was a studious and self motivated student. He was educated in the Indianapolis School District. He attended Elementary School 87 and the historical Crispus Attucks High School and furthering his pursuit of education at Butler University College. Clyde believed education and life experiences were important in developing character and expanding your knowledge of the world.
Clyde joined the United States Military serving honorably in the Army.
He was gainfully employed by the Internal Revenue Service, the Treasury Department, entrusted with a high level decision making platform.
Clyde was a numismatist believing every coin produced a story. He enjoyed the intrigue of history through stamp collecting as a philatelist. As a voracious reader, he understood the current and historical impact writers contributed to society.
Clyde was joined in holy matrimony to his high school sweetheart, the vivacious, talented and elegant Virginia Bernard in Indianapolis, Indiana. To this union, the love of their lives Cheryl Perette was born, whom they adored.
Clyde and Virginia were well traveled, experiencing cultures and customs of people in Paris, France, Italy, London, England to name a few. As Cheryl traveled with her parents, she too desired to experience other places to broaden her horizons through exploration.
Clyde had a deep abiding love of his faith as a Christian. He was an active worshipper at St. John the Evangelist Church, Deer Park, Ohio.
Clyde leaves to cherish his memories, a devoted, loving and supportive daughter, Cheryl Perette Richardson.
