Claudia Mae Thomas Dunn Champion was born in Greensboro, GA, on July 24, 1927 to the late Henry and Anna Heath Thomas.
Claudia relocated to Cincinnati, Ohio where she raised her thirteen children. Claudia committed her heart and life to Jesus Christ, and she began her journey of servitude to Jesus and others. Claudia began her instructions in righteousness under the leadership of Elder John Matthews. She later joined Good News COGIC under the leadership of Elder James Quick, were she served faithfully. Claudia was led to join Bread From Heaven COGIC under the leadership of Pastor Philmore Martin where she remained until her passing. She loved attending church, and until illness incapacitated her, she would gather with the saints.
Claudia was mother and grandmother “extraordinaire.” She loved her children and parented with a firm hand, always speaking the truth in love.
On January 27, 2021, Claudia completed her journey. She fought a good fight, she finished her course, she kept the faith. Claudia has made her transition, changed her address, and is now in the presence of the Lord.
