Obituary

Christine Speed, 58, passed away on May 18, 2023. Beloved wife of Joseph Speed; mother of Thomas Speed and the late Joseph Michael Speed; daughter of Margaret and the late Henry Lopez; sister of Chuck Lopez.

Christy was a wonderful wife and mother who loved spending time with her boys and enjoyed all of their vacations, especially the trips to visit family. She was an award winning lighting designer and an avid gardener.

Visitation to be held at Spring Grove Funeral Home - Reading, 8633 Reading Road from 9:00 to 10:30 AM on Thursday, May 25, 2023 with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 am at Our Lady of the Valley Parish, 330 W. Vine Street, Reading. Burial at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. www.springgrove.org
