Cheryrl Ann Hermina (Kraft) Craig, loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister passed away due to complications from ongoing illnesses on Saturday, April 30, 2022. Cheryrl was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on August 21, 1947, to Paul and Ruth (Crouse) Kraft. On March 25, 1967, she and Albert Craig married.
Of her ten siblings, Paul (aka Fritz) Kraft, Barbra (Kraft) Schott, Charles Kraft, Raymond Kraft, Mary (Kraft) High, Leonard Kraft, Joann (Kraft) Daley, Howard (aka Porky) Kraft, Roger Kraft, and Pauline (Kraft) Craig, Cheryrl was the last to join them in death.
She was also preceded in passing by her husband and her son, Timothy Craig (Julie). Her remaining children, Michelle Craig, Brien Craig (Stacy), and Cyndi (Craig) Abrams will miss her dearly. Cheryrl also left her fifteen grandchildren. Michelle's daughter: Summer (Zachary); Brien's children: Daniel (Cassie), Brandon, Blake (Danielle), Alex (Elaine), Chloe, Cody, Asa, Alena, and Avery; Timothy's children: Grayson, Gavin, and Guilliana; and Cyndi's children: Christopher and Amber. She was also survived by her great grandchildren, Daniel's children: Xavier and Logan.
Cheryrl Ann Hermina Craig was a woman who made it her mission to induce giggles at every chance, to make sure those she touched knew exactly how much she loved them through thoughtful, often hand-made gifts, and to pass on the stories of her life. Her spirit will live on through our memories of early morning phone calls, family meals at Gramma's Pizza, loving embraces, and the sound of warm summer rain. Of all the things that were true about Cheryrl, her love and kindness would shine through each act of her life. Heaven has never welcomed a warmer soul.
We will not be holding a service, but will be hosting a celebration of life this summer. The details will be announced at a later date. Our only ask is that you remember our beloved Cheryrl any time you're blessed by the presence of a butterfly, as this would surely be her chosen sign to let us all know she loves us. www.springgrove.org
