Audra loved animals and worked tirelessly to rescue, foster and care for cats. She donated her time and resources volunteering at shelters. She wanted to help animals from a very young age and even mistakenly left food out for an opossum she thought was a stray cat. She passed on her love of pets to Francisco and he overcame his cat allergy to the point that he can't live without them. She loved travel and while traveling internationally met her husband Francisco in a pub in Barcelona in 2007. They remained close friends and married June 28, 2014. Audra proposed marriage over email to Francisco in September 2013 and he said yes the morning after. They continued to travel all over Europe and lived in Darmstadt (Germany), Oak Park IL, Westwood NJ and Mason OH. Audra had fun playing with make-up and could spend hours trying new techniques and combinations. She would never go out unless she was sure her make-up and hair were on flick. Her make-up collection is probably the largest one in the Midwest. Audra was an avid reader and she could read two or three books at the same time. Her book collection occupies half of the available space at her parents' basement. The librarian would allow her to take 15 books at a time so that she didn't need to go back every day. She was a food lover as long as it was not spicy. Audra loved all kinds of music and her favorite artists were 2 Chainz and Beyonce. Everyone who knew Audra would agree that she had a great sense of humor and a positive spirit. She lit up a room as soon as she walked in. Her family and friends will miss her dearly. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to your local no-kill animal shelter or Audra's favorite shelters For Cats Sake in Wisconsin or Forget Me Not in Illinois. Her memorial will begin at 2pm EST Tuesday January 26th with a visitation prior beginning at 1pm EST at Spring Grove Funeral Home, 4389 Spring Grove Ave in Cincinnati Ohio.
