Obituary

Anna Payer (nee Goetz) passed away February 3, 2021 at the age of 96.  She was born November 7, 1924 in Gertianosch, a small town in the region of Timis, Romania and immigrated to the United States with her family in 1956.  They settled in Cincinnati where she met her husband, Ernst Payer of 48 years, who recently passed away on December 11, 2020.  She is survived by her niece, Candance Goldsberry (Kenneth), who she raised as a daughter after her mother passed as well as numerous nieces and nephews through marriage.  A long time member of the Germania Society, she will be greatly missed by family and friends.  Visitation will be held Saturday, February 13th at 1:00 until time of service at 1:30 at the Cedars of Lebanon Chapel in Spring Grove Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to a favorite charity.
