TOUR TOPIC: ODDFELLOWS
The Odd Fellows were the second largest benevolent fraternal organization in America in the 19th century. Guided by their core principles “Visit the sick, Relieve the Distressed, Bury the Dead,” they helped their members through the difficulties of life. Many Cincinnati Odd Fellow Lodges chose Spring Grove Cemetery as the final resting place for their members. On this tour, you’ll learn about this intertwining of the group and Spring Grove. You’ll learn more about the philosophy and activities of the Odd Fellows and you’ll meet some of the many Odd Fellows at rest in Spring Grove.
