The Garden Courtyard ($595 - Seats up to 1,000)
The Garden Courtyard is located in the front area of the cemetery/arboretum. It is planted with Hybrid Tea roses, as well as other colorful annual flowers. The wedding party is permitted to rent their own tents, chairs, wedding arbor, etc., and will assemble/ disassemble their own set-ups. Spring Grove will designate the appropriate site for tent set-up. All equipment must be disassembled and removed from site the eve of the event. In the event of inclement weather, the Norman Chapel will be made available to the wedding party.

The Lakeside Chapel ($225 - Seats up to 25)
The Lakeside Chapel Complex offers a more contemporary and intimate location for your ceremony. Completed in 1991, the Chapel has accommodations for up to 25. The setting is ideal for a vow renewal ceremony or a second wedding celebration. The Chapel has high, vaulted ceilings and is framed by beautiful stained glass windows. Located in one of the original historic sections of Spring Grove Cemetery, the Complex overlooks scenic Willow Lake with its breathtaking flower border that is ever changing with the seasons. Weather permitting, the outdoor plaza with our Koi pond offers a unique alternative for an open-air ceremony.


Ceremonies may be scheduled within one of the following 3-hour timeframes:

Rehearsal: The chapel may be scheduled (based on availability) for a one-hour wedding rehearsal 1 - 3 days prior to your ceremony. You are encouraged to schedule that date as far in advance as possible to assure availability. Spring Grove reserves the right to schedule more than one rehearsal on any specific date if necessary.

Dressing Facilities: There are no dressing rooms or facilities available on the premises.

Decorating: Decorating the chapel will need to be accomplished during your three hour usage period (Refer to the Standard Facility Use Agreement.) All decorations, florals, equipment rentals, etc., must be removed from the chapel immediately following the ceremony. No permanent attachments may used or anything that will cause damage to the pews or other surface area (nails, screws, glue, tape, etc…).

Security/ Chapel Attendant: Spring Grove will provide one security guard to serve as Chapel Attendant for the opening & closing of gates and to direct traffic and parking. You must provide your own valet if you desire one.

Event / Ceremony Coordinator: If the couple wishes to have an event professional assist with ceremony detailing, coordination, and to be present for rehearsal and ceremony management, Spring Grove offers those services at an additional cost. Please inquire for more information.

Minister / Musicians: Spring Grove does not employ staff musicians, photographers or a minister - it is the responsibility of the couple to provide their own officiates, musicians, etc. Spring Grove does, however, have a referral list available at your request.

Cancellation Policy: The full deposit will be refunded if the cancellation is made within 60 days of the initial reservation. Refunds after 60 days are at the discretion of Spring Grove Cemetery & Arboretum. The Norman Chapel is not air-conditioned. Requests for refunds for this reason will not be granted.

Miscellaneous:

• Spring Grove will not permit food, beverages, or alcohol on the premises
• Spring Grove is a smoke-free organization: Smoking is prohibited in all buildings (offices, chapels, mausoleums) throughout the grounds
• Throwing rice, birdseed, confetti, etc. is not permitted
