HISTORY & HERITAGE
Walk through the most historic portions of the cemetery and learn about the rich history within our "museum without walls". On this tour you will visit the Civil War Section and some of Cincinnati's most influential founders and residents.
BRONZED AND BEAUTIFUL
Bronze is traditionally one of the warmest, durable materials used by artisans to create works of art of all types. This tour will highlight some of the most impressive bronze sculptures throughout Spring Grove, such as the haunting Emery Angel and monument of Cincinnati Zoo founder, Andrew Erkenbrecher.
LEAFS AND RELIEFS
Discover Spring Grove's history and world-renowned horticulture as your docent points out actual plants, flowers, and trees within the arboretum and discuss their symbolism as depicted in relief carvings, stained glass, and sculpture throughout the Grove.
SYMBOLS OF LIFE AND DEATH
Iconography is the set of symbols and allusions that give meaning to various works of art. Often, the symbols used on a monument tell a story about the life it is representing. ANGELS IN THE GROVE
Angels are considered beings that build relations between the macrocosmic world and the material one, convey the commands of a higher power, direct the acts and lives of beings, and represent their worship in their own realms. Join us on this inspiring tour of the angel sculptures, statuary, iconography, stained glass windows and etched carvings at Spring Grove.
LADIES OF THE GROVE
A tour of the more notable women(such as English actress, Belinda Groshon and feminist Francis "Fannie" Wright) buried in Spring Grove. Learn about their lives and their death and how they influenced our world today.
CLIFTON CONNECTIONS
Of all the neighborhoods in Cincinnati, Clifton is known as having the most impressive and historic connection to Spring Grove Cemetery and its founding. On this tour, see where most of the Cliftonite Spring Grove founders are buried and discover their family heritage.

On this tour, you will see the gravesites of Cincinnati's pioneers and learn the history of their reinterment from graveyards and burial grounds that used to exist throughout downtown Cincinnati.
SPORTS MEMORIALS OF ALL SORTS
Spring Grove has one of the largest number of baseball notables buried on its grounds. Learn about those and other sports-related monuments on this historic tour.
WINDOWS OF THE GROVE
See a variety of Spring Grove's many stained glass windows that beautify the over 40 family mausoleums, such as the breathtaking Fleischmann Temple window.
