Pet Policy
One of Spring Grove's goals is to provide a safe, memorable atmosphere
for our property owners and visitors who come to visit loved ones, meditate,
or simply walk through the grounds and enjoy nature.
Pets, particularly dogs, can be a nuisance and a possible threat to others.
They can cause a disruption to the day-to-day visitation and on-going burial
services. Some pets, even the friendliest, can be a source of intimidation to
visitors who are not familiar or comfortable with pets. In addition, pets can
be messy, which is an unpleasant experience for those who have come to enjoy the
beauty and serenity of the grounds.
To ensure a safe, enjoyable experience, pets are not permitted on the grounds.
We thank you for your cooperation in leaving your pets at home.
Wildlife Policy
While waterfowl are a wonderful part of nature and beautiful to behold, you must
remember these are wild birds. Feeding these birds can actually harm them.
Food handouts may entice them to delay their normal migration and cause them to
lose their fear of most things people-related. Lack of fear can cause groups of birds
to approach people and congregate in inappropriate areas and roadways.
Handouts are also less nutritious than the birds' natural diet and increases their
susceptibility to life-treatening diseases.
To make certain that your experience at Spring Grove is pleasant and to promote the
safe, natural feeding and migration patterns of these beautiful birds, we ask your
cooperation to not feed the waterfowl.
Fishing is not permitted in any of Spring Grove's 15 lakes.
If you have any questions or concerns about either of these policies, please call
our office at (513) 681-PLAN (7526).
Thank you.
