Historic Spring Grove Cemetery is excited to present our
Fourth Annual Dog Day of Summer Event
Sunday, June 26, 2011
Activities cancelled due to weather. Dogs are still welcome today!
For 364 days of year the cemetery does not permit dog owners to share the beauty
of Spring Grove with their pets. However, on this ONE day only, responsible pet
owners are invited to come and spend the entire day at the cemetery with their
four legged buddies. Explore over 45 miles of paved roads throughout the 400+
developed acres of the park. You and your canine friend can stroll at your
leisure along our marked Dogwood Trail with historic highlights marked.
Pick up a map at our Information Booth located behind the Gwen Mooney Funeral Home.
Water stations will be along the route between 9A - 1P.
We will continue to provide our popular cooling station swimming pools!
Share the day with our Spring Grove staff as we bring our dogs with us to work.
NEW for 2011 - PICNIC WITH YOUR POOCH!
We will have picnic tables and chairs set up for you to enjoy hot off the
grill concessions / or / bring your own picnic lunch. Concessions will be
available between 11A - 1P (for a nominal charge).
Spring Grove will proudly be accepting donations for SPCA Cincinnati.
This a Free event for the entire family! ALL PETS are required to register
at the information tent located on our community greenbelt behind Spring Grove's
funeral home, The Gwen Mooney Funeral Home.
Remember - when the clock strikes 6:00pm and the gates are closed, we will not
be able to share Spring Grove with our pets until next year's Dog Day Event!
