In 1963, Spring Grove built its first communal mausoleum, the Memorial
Mausoleum. With few choice selections still available, the Memorial
Mausoleum remains a classic among American cemeteries. Visitors are
welcome to enjoy the stained glass windows, wood carvings, mosaics,
and the book-faced marble.
The beauty of
Spring Grove's Memorial Mausoleum is difficult to describe. Nowhere
is there a mausoleum of equal elegance. The crypt fronts are faced
with 40 different kinds of marble, selected from Spain, Portugal,
France and Italy and the rich marble quarried in this country.
