The last time I saw Andrew was in Colorado when m y father passed away. It had been way too long between visits then and I regret that I was not able to see him after that. He will be missed and though we were a continent apart, we were and always will be family. My love to him and all of his family now and forever.

I did not grow up near Andrew but I seem to remember that he was a kind, gentle soul. He came to our house in Texas to visit once - already a grown man and had much more in common with my father, his uncle, James Lawrence Oshier, than he did all of the teenage girls in the house. Years later when my father passed, Andrew came to his funeral in Colorado and still seemed to be what I remember. The James Lawrence Oshier family fondly sends their condolences and prayers to Andrew's family. May he rest in peace.

I would always enjoy talking to Andrew on his many walks through Glendale. We would cover many subjects..family, politics, food, health, books, his pen collection, our old houses. He always made me laugh. I am very sad. My deepest sympathy to Jane, George and Jack. He loved you all so much. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Pam

I am just so sad to hear of Andrew's passing. I miss our long talks about a myriad of subjects. He is truly one of the most fascinating people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He loved gardening and shared many tips and resources with me. As Pam Cheney mentioned in her tribute, it is evident that nothing mattered more to Andrew than his family. I am just grateful I had the pleasure of knowing him. My deepest sympathy to you, Jane, and the boys. My heart breaks for you. At least his suffering is over.

Remembering all of our adventures today and everyday... You created fun and games for my sisters and I when we were growing up! We also had our talks and disagreements. I wish I could have talked with you more. I'll miss sharing my life and stories with you and will miss hearing yours. Thank you for being my big brother.
