Rick was one of the finest men we have ever been privileged to know. We will certainly miss his smile, humor, and kindness. There is no doubt that his passing will leave an eternal void in the lives of the many people who knew and loved him. Our thoughts, love, and prayers are with all of his family at this difficult time.

Rick was a wonderful kind and funny man. His love for his wife and daughters had no bounderies. It was a priviledge to have met him and have him DJ the wrestling banquet when his girls were Matscots at Oak Hills. He kept us all very entertained. Rest in peace and fly high with the angels.

  • Special Olympics Hamilton County

Rick was a very "Special" friend to the athletes of Special Olympics Hamilton County. He was very involved, as was his wife and daughters, with the Power Lifting Program. He loved being with the athletes and the athletes loved him. He would joke around with them all the time but when it came time to be serious, he would put on his serious face to help the guys do their best. Rick will be dearly missed by all his Special Friends.

Rick worked at the Walnut Garage when I was the Manager. There was not a better employee that I knew that worked with me. He always gave 100% when it came to work. And he also gave 100% when it came to having fun, telling jokes and just being an all around "good guy." All that worked with him and his customers enjoyed his smiling face and always giving great service. Rick was a great guy. To his family I am sorry for your loss. I hope and pray the memories that you have will be a comfort to you. God Bless, Stuart Hodesh

My condolences to the family. Rick was always filled with life, respect of other folks, good humor and deep commitments. I meet him early in the days he was becoming a Cincinnati Firefighter. I felt his dedication to that profession was most crucial in his life at that time, Thirty years plus is proof of that choice. Rick also was and entertainer, DJ, party guy, practical joker and fun guy to be around. He always wanted folks to have a good time. Truly heaven will be blessed with a spirit who will make the clouds rumble with laughter and good times. May he rest in peace. God Bless.
