Obituary

Homer "Bush" Buescher, 99 of Cincinnati, OH passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at his residence. Bush was born in St. Louis, MO on November 15, 1920 to the late Home and Paula Buescher. He retired from P&G as a chemical engineer. Bush was member Northminster Presbyterian Church. Bush served his country in WWII as Lt. in the Navy on the USS Steele-DE8. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert Buescher and sister, Betty King. Bush is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Mary Buescher; sons, William (Jan) and Thomas (Maureen) Buescher; daughter, Joan (Joseph) Golinar; grandchildren, Stephen, Lauren, Jason, Sarah (Steven); as well as many other relatives and friends. A vistation will take place on Saturday, August 1, 2020 from 1 until the time of service at 2 at Spring Grove Cemetery-Norman Chapel. Burial will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery. Memorial donations in Bush's name may go to Cincinnati Association for the Blind or Habitat for Humanity.

    Homer and I shared a loyalty to The Pennsylvania State University where we both studied Industrial and Systems Engineering. Homer had a very sharp mind , even at 99, and was often sought out as a Trivia Player at our retirement community. Thru the end of July he was reading the New York Times every day, which he shared with me in exchange for the Enquirer--I had the best part of the swap! I am proud to have been a Penn State friend of Bush's
