    Relationship: Old Friend

I so remember Marcia as we were roommates at the University of Cincinnati. I recall that Marcia was always happy and upbeat. She had such a positive outlook on life and a smile for everyone around her.

    Relationship: Friend and Former St

Ms. Rowley changed my life. My love of reading and books was stemmed from her - way back in 1982!! She was an amazing woman, and a terrific teacher. She was also my track coach - and kept us laughing and having fun. She will be missed!

  • Barbara Yelton
    Relationship: Friend

I remember our trips to Church Hill Downs for Kentucky Colonel Day. Betty and I and Joan and Marcia went and had an enjoyable time at Galt House and races. Marcia enjoyed traveling and made arrangements for our trip to Sacramento for Tia's wedding. I know Marcia enjoyed her birthday parties celebrated on Derby Day at their House (Joan & Marcia 's place). Especially those mint Juleps my sister Joan made. Marcia may you see my sister in Heaven and rest in eternal peace

    Relationship: Joan's sister

Barb & I & our sister, Joan, enjoyed traveling to Sacramento. Plus a trip to Makers Mark in Ky. to get our bottles with our names on. Also a trip to Branson was a fun time by all. Marcia did like to party even on Bengals game day. She share her books with our brother, Jim. Hope she is celebrating with Joan & her family members in heaven. May she RIP.

    Relationship: Former student

Ms. Rowley was my 7th and 8th grade English teacher at Harrison Middle School, circa 1974 - 1976, which I think may have been her first two years as a teacher. She encouraged me in many creative endeavors, including composing music. She was the most inspiring teacher I have had at any level.

    Relationship: friend from college

Marcia was a friend from the University of Cincinnati. We were both dorm presidents and became friends that way. Together, we drove my dad's old station wagon from Cincinnati to San Francisco and back in the summer of 1972. We had a blast! Marcia was a loyal friend, particularly when I was going through a rough time my sophomore year. She was a bright, shining light: funny, witty, kind and compassionate.
