I worked with Walter ( Butch ) Hallbauer at Engine 29 back in the 1980’s . Butch helped break me in as a Firefighter. I am always grateful for his leadership and professional approach when we were at work. We also socialized together when we played on the softball team together. Butch you will be missed. So sorry to hear of Butch's passing. He certainly put up a good, long fight. It is a shame the virus keeps us from showing the respect he deserves. Our sympathy, prayers and love go to all of the family.
