Margaret’s undying love and devotion for Vernon and her family were at the center of her life, followed closely by the joy she found teaching her students, and building memories with her friends. She hosted many gatherings with warm stories of her international adventures, multiple course meals and delicious wine.
Margaret left a legacy of teaching and mentoring many future designers as a beloved tenured Professor at the College of Design, Art, Architecture and Planning at the University of Cincinnati. She inspired her students with imagination and skill, often hosting trips to the Paris fashion houses and New York’s Fashion District. She was an accomplished water color artist, often visiting Aix-en-Provence and Monet’s Garden to perfect her watercolor techniques.
Among her many accomplishments are earning her tenure as a full Professor, twice being awarded Professor of the Year by her students, serving as the coordinator of DAAP Fashion Department and a published international writer and contributor.
