I have so many memories of Mr Stevens (as I knew him). Perhaps among the best were when I would come over and chores needed to be done by Gary or Darren (always called Dude then) and he would look at me and just say, you can do that one, or why don’t you help and I felt like it was as much because he was treating me as if I were a part of the family and I would jump in and help as best I could. That was how I always felt whenever I was at the house, almost as if I were a cousin of some kind. He taught his children so many practical things while encouraging them to learn new things and how to treat people well. Those lessons in turn were taught by example to their friends and children. In short a very good man who lived a life well lived. Well Done Good and Faithful Servant.
