ean StegmanFitzhenry, 82 of Fairfield, OH, formally of Cincinnati, passed away peacefully on Friday October 5, 2018. She is survived by 4 sons William, Joseph, Michael and James Fitzhenry and their spouses. Jean is also survived by 11 Grandchildren, 1 sister, Mary Beck, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Clara Sander Stegman and by her siblings, Betty Boyle, Jude Stegman, and Dick Stegman.
Jean was a fiercely independent woman who set her own course in life after growing up in Ft. Thomas, KY. She yearned for different experiences in the world and started her adventure by leaving home and becoming a stewardess for United Airlines. This addressed her need to travel, meet new people and experience life to the fullest which she thoroughly enjoyed. Eventually she found her way back to the Cincinnati area and spent the last 30 years of her life close to family and the town she grew up in. Jean loved the arts, and for many years was a patron of various art galleries and musical venues throughout Cincinnati. Wherever she went in life she was known for her boisterous personality, her desire to set her own course in the world, and her disdain for rules. She will be interred in St. Stephen's Cemetery with her parents, brother and sister.
