Charles “Chuck” Arthur Brooks died peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on July 4, 2018. He is predeceased by his parents, Arah Brooks and Lillian Mahlke, and his beloved wife Patricia (Howard) Brooks, retired Forest Park Fire Chief. He is survived by his cherished children; Clifford A. Chuck’s life, his marriage to Trish and the beautiful family they created together are truly worth celebrating “all because two people fell in love.”

    Relationship: Close Friends/Travel

In 1984, we moved suddenly to Ohio (Dave’s new job). Chuck & Trish were the first people to welcome us. They welcomed us with open arms and so much love. We became family! We have so many incredible memories of our many trips together; BBQs around the pool; sharing in the births, deaths, birthdays, anniversaries & so many other celebrations; too many fun times to mention. We love this family so much! Chuck is thankfully no longer suffering and he is now with Trish and our Lord and Savior. We rejoice in his homecoming and know that one day we will be reunited. Chuck left a wonderful legacy in his beautiful children and grandchildren. He touched so many lives, including ours, and made a difference. We are praying for peace and comfort as the Brooks family says goodbye to the pillar of this amazing family. We love you all more than you will ever know, xoxo...Dave, Vicki, Bret and Lindsay Wallace

    Relationship: Associate with Trish

We worked with Trish on our team for 15+ years. Chuck shared his wife graciously for many hours, sometimes in the middle of the night. Whenever the call, where ever the call took Trish, Chuck was very understanding and supportive. He shared their home for our board meetings and ate with us. Then he would retreat with the dogs to the bedroom for TV. Peace be with you in your loss of your Dad.
