Prince Everett Owens, 90, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away peacefully on January 7, 2017, at Otterbeinin Lebanon, Ohio, surrounded by his family. He was born on November 29, 1927, in Pine Knot, KY, to Lora (nee Shepherd) and James Alfred Owens. On March 4, 1950, he married the love of his life, Fannie (nee Patrick), in Detroit, MI.
Prince served his country as a member of the United States Army Air Corps during World War II. He was stationed in Japan. After his service, he returned to Cincinnati, Ohio where he worked as a field service engineer for General Electric.
Prince is survived by his wife of almost 68 years, Fannie Owens, children; Mike (Ann) Owens, Linda (David) Parker, Rodney (Sheri) Owens, Peggy (James) Fischer, 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, siblings; Paul, John, Robert, Helen, Doris, Dale, and Judy Ann. Prince was preceded in death by his parents, siblings; Kenneth, Thelma, Don, and Faye.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until the funeral service begins at 11:00 am, at Spring Grove Funeral Homes (4389 Spring Grove Ave, 45223), on Friday, January 12, 2018.
