Strauch Island and Geyser Lake
Adolph Strauch, one of the cemetery's founding fathers, is buried here. He was instrumental in designing this portion of the cemetery to resemble the English Garden concept and is known as the father of the "Landscape Lawn Plan." Strauch also went on to design Eden Park on Cincinnati's eastern heights and Burnet Woods, in Clifton.
